Former director of Public Relations and Promotions and Events, at Globacom, Bode Opeseitan, has returned to the company, almost one and half years after he left.
Opeseitan returns to take the position of Director, External Communication & Public Relations.
He left the company in 2017 to run a business after he had worked at Globacom for almost 14 years.
Opeseitan who confirmed his return in his facebook account said he returned after the owner of Glo reached out to him and asked that he should return and he could not say no to a man he regards as father.
“Almost one year later, Dr Adenuga reached out to me and said the unthinkable. One of Africa’s richest men apologized for the way the system took my decision to leave.
“He painted my modest contributions glowingly and asked me to return if I wished. I deeply expressed my gratitude to him for his support over the years,” Opeseitan said.
He also noted that he has “not jettison SA&B Mega Resources, an organisation founded by thoroughbred professionals who are some of the best in their fields from different parts of the world. I left for a purpose while the other promoters of the business have continued with the good work”.
When he left Globacom, he set up SA&B Mega Resources Limited, a fully integrated African marketing communications company made of a team professionals from competitive markets within and outside Africa.
He is a Fellow of the World Press Institute in Macalester College, Minnesota, USA; Poynter Institute, Florida, USA; and the Reuters Foundation, UK; Opeseitan worked at African Newspapers of Nigeria Plc for eight years, rising to the post of Editor, Tribune on Saturday.
