President Mohammadu Buhari has urged Nigerian youths to shun violence and not allow politicians desperate politicians to violate the ballot and endanger the country.

He reminded the youths and Nigerians, generally, that elections will come and go but Nigeria will still remain.

The president spoke today in Abuja, at the presentation of book titled: Nigeria on Firmer Ground Towards Lasting Peace and Progress. The book was written by the Presidential Media Team. The book launch was aired on NTA.

The book highlighted some of the exploits of his government in social investment, agriculture and security.

Mr Buhari asked Nigerians to come out on February 16, 2019 during the election and exercise their civic duties in an atmosphere of peace and security.

He reiterated his commitment to free, fair and credible elections.

He asked Nigerians to give his administration another four years, as he promised to use the second term to enshrine higher level of accountability and consolidate on the foundation already laid.

The president, once again, spoke about his achievements in the areas of agriculture, fighting corruption, economy and economic development.
