The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) today declared opened voting to nominate its 2019 Awardees for the event scheduled to hold on Friday, 14th June, 2019 at 5:00pm in Lagos State.
Nominations for the .ng award categories opened online on the 19th of March 2019 and closed on the 22nd of April 2019. The Awards Committee, made up of representatives of the NiRA Executive Board, Accredited Registrars and Registry staff shortlisted nominees who met the criteria listed out at https://nira.org.ng/ngawards2019/#criteria and hereby present them to the general public to be voted, for the much coveted awards.
NiRA, has said in statement that voting for the 2019 .ng Awards commences on Wednesday, 8th May 2019 and closes on Friday, 5th June, 2019.
The statement said members of the public are encouraged to cast their votes for their preferred organization(s) during this period. To vote for your preferred organization in the different award categories, you are expected to log on to https://nira.org.ng/ngawards2019/vote.php. There are 13 award categories to acknowledge, cater for, encourage and reward the various stakeholders in the industry.
“We appreciate the active roles everyone is playing to develop the Domain Name Industry in Nigeria and look forward to a successful 2019 .ng Awards Ceremony”, the statement said.
