The Minister of Communication Dr Isa Pantami, today, in his office, inaugurated the reconstituted board of directors of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
The inauguration followed the vacation by Sunday Dare from the office of Executive Commissioner, Stakeholders Management, following his appointment as Minister of Sports by president Mohammadu Buhari and the appointment of others to fill other vacant positions.
President Buhari in his recent appointments named Mr Adeleke Adewolu’s as replacement for Mr Sunday Dare.
Other appointments made by Buhari are Uba Maska, in charge of Technical Services, Aliyu Abubakar (North-east), Millennia Aboiye (South-south) and Abdulaziz Salman (North-central).
The new board now has Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye, as Chairman, Professor Umar Danbatta, as Executive Vice Chairman, Prof. Millionaire Freeborn Aboiwe, Commissioner, Mr. Aliu Saidu Abubakar, Commissioner; Mr. Clement Baiye, Commissioner, Ubale Maska, Executive Commissioner Technical Services, Mr. Salman Abdulazeez Mahammed, Commissioner, and Adeleke Adewolu as Executive Commissioner, Stakeholders Management.
