President Donald Trump said, in a televised message monitored in CNN, that the missile attack from Iran, aimed at American targets were ineffective as no Americans and Iraqis were hurt and there were not damages.
While indicating that the United States was not going to respond militarily to the attack on US the military basis in Iraq, Trump said Iran “appears to be standing down”.
He however said that the US was going to impose new powerful sanctions against Iran.
According to him Iran appears to be standing down, adding that was good news.
While he said that Iran “ will not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon”, Trump called on Germany, France, China, Russia, United Kingdom to break from the Iranian nuclear deal which he described as foolish. “Time has come to break away from the Iranian deal”, he said.
According to him it is money that Iran got from the 2013 nuclear deal that the country has been using to sponsor terrorism in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan.
Trump said the US would no longer tolerate Iranian terrorism and mayhem in the world.
Iran is leading sponsor of terror in the world, threatening the civilized war, according to him, adding that the murdered Iranian military commander, Qasem Soleimani was the key leader in those operations.
While offering the Iranian leaders and people and opportunity to move away from their terrorism acts over the Middle East, Trump said the US has huge military and economic might, the best in the world, but America does not have to use them.
He said he wants a new future and prosperity for the leaders and people of Iran.
He also said America does not need Middle East oil to survive,
