United Kingdom Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has been taken into intensive care in hospital with coronavirus.
He has asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to deputise for him, a No 10 spokesman said.
“Over the course of this afternoon, the condition of the Prime Minister has worsened and, on the advice of his medical team, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital,” the statement said.
Johnson was admitted to the London hospital last night with persistent symptoms of coronavirus, 10 days after first being diagnosed.
