Nigeria has recorded a fresh 576 cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of confirmed infections of the highly infectious respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus to 37,801 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), mafe the update Tuesday night via its twitter handle, when it announced 805 as the total number of deaths from the virus in the country, while 15,677 have fully recovered.

Lagos returns to leading the pack with just one case ahead of Kwara. Lagos recorded 88 new cases while

Kwara reported 87. While Kaduna and Ebonyi tied at 20 fresh cases each, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded another high number of 82 cases, Plateau-62, Ondo-39, Enugu-28, Oyo-26, Taraba-24, Edo-17, Cross River-16, Kano-14, Rivers-11 and Ogun-10 complete the double digit list.

On the single-digit list are Kebbi and Borno with one case each, then Delta-9, Nasarawa-8, Osun-8, Katsina-3 and Imo-2.
