Several ICT industry-leading companies, chief executives, and top media executives have indicated their interest to grace the launch of the book: Nigeria Drivers of Digital Prosperity and the eWorld Forum ’22, taking place on July 7, 2022, at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

Apart from Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, former Executive Vice-chairman of the Nigerian Communications Communication ( NCC) and current chairman of  MTN Nigeria, who would chair the occasion, the current Executive Vice-chairman of the NCC, Professor Umar Danbatta shall present the leader paper on the theme: 4 G, 5G, Broadband Connectivity and the Economy.

Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem, current secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government, a former president of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria ( ALTON), chairman of Teldom, and leader in broadband connectivity advocacy had earlier confirmed he would attend the event. 

He would be joined by other  ICT industry icons such as Sir Demola Aladekomo, founder of Chams Plc, a leading voice and player in the cashless society and business connectivity, and Mr. Tim Akano, a futurist and Managing Director of New Horizons, a capacity-building company and Mr. Chris Uwaje, fondly referred to as ICT Oracle and founder and Chief Architect, Mobile Solutions.

Lagos State Commissioner of Science and Technology, Mr. Hakeem Fahn, and Engineer Muhammed Rudman have also confirmed to speak at the events.

ICT media top entrepreneurs and advocates, such as Shina Badaru, founder and publisher of Technology Times, Mrs. Ufuoma, Emuophedaro, publisher of eBusiness Magazine and convener of ICT for Girls initiative, Dr. Bayero Agabi, founder of Digivation Networks, Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi, President of TechTV, Remmy Nweke of Digital Sense, Segun Oruame, publisher of ITEdge News, Mkpe Abang of IT & Telecom Digest and members of the Nigerian Information Technology  ReporterAssociation ( NITRA) are also expected at the event.

Biodun Bayo, a veteran ICT journalist, and PR practitioner will be the book reviewer.

Several corporate bodies, including NCC, MTN Nigeria, ixPN, Nira, 9Mobile, MainOne, and ALTON have also lined up to support the book launch and the Forum.
