A statement signed by APRA’s Secretary-General, Dr Omoniyi Ibietan said it also stands in s o l i d a r i t y w i t h their their c o l l e a g u e s in Kenya.
The statement said, “W e u r g e t h e G o v e r n m e n t o f K e n y a t o p u t t h e p e o p l e o f K e n y a f i r s t a n d i n
a s h o w o f c o n v e r s a t i o n a l c a p a c i t y a s a l r e a d y i n d i c a t e d b y the
P r e s i d e n c y , u n d e r t a k e s t a k e h o l d e r c o n s u l t a t i o n s w i t h e m p a t h y a n d a n
o p e n n e s s t o r e c o n c i l i at i o n .
